Our Staff
Hi, we would like to welcome you to Adventure Awaits Learning Center, LLC. We are very excited to have you join us! Our facility has two full time staff, the Director and Co-Owner of our program. Our staff also includes three part-time teachers. Together, we have over 30 years of experience working with children. We aim to ensure that your child is welcomed in each day by a familiar face. All of our staff have Criminal, Child Abuse, and Fingerprint Clearances; they have also completed mandated reported training. Lastly, to ensure your child's physical health, our staff is certified in Child/Infant CPR, AED and First Aid. We are always available to answer any questions or address any concerns you may have about your child(ren)-- so please don't hesitate to reach out or ask questions.
Jenna Wolbert
Hi - My name is Jenna; I am the Director and Co-Owner of Adventure Awaits Learning Center. I am also a graduate student at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. I am certified in Child & Infant first aid and CPR. I have also received training on health and safety and child development.
I have always had a passion for being around kiddos. I began working with children at about 15 years old, as I spent evenings and weekends watching children in our neighbor-hood. As I grew older, I continued to spend my weekends and summers watching children. I have experience with infants including twins, up through middle school age children.
Over the last year, I have been blessed to be a stay at home parent to my very intelligent and active 1 year old son. More recently I have have had the privilege of watching children in my home.
Prior to having my son, I worked in the counseling field, but before I became a counselor I worked with children with behavioral needs and children with autism.
Throughout past summers and weekends, I have volunteered my time working with intellectually and physically disabled children. It brings joy to my heart as I see the smile on each child's face as they get to experience summer, like many other children do. We were not only able to provide a summer experience, but also a sense of belonging where they feel proud of who they are.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time outdoors and with my family. We enjoy hiking, swimming, kayaking, and camping. We also love to play and watch sports (soccer, football, basketball, and baseball).
Brittany Caulfield
Hi! I am Brittany Caulfield, and I am a Co-Owner of Adventure Awaits Learning Center. I graduated from Grove City College in 2014 with a BA in psychology. I am currently enrolled in the MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program at Clarion University. I have worked the past three years as a Therapeutic Staff Support with children. I have also been a foster parent for the past year. I have babysat for many different children for about 15 years. I have experience working with children with autism, ADHD, ODD, anxiety, intellectual disabilities, and behavioral problems.
I have training in many different areas such as CPR/First Aid, autism, trauma, impact of disabilities, child development, and human diversity.
Although I have worked in a variety of different professions, children have always been central to each one. I love working with kids, and I am excited for this new venture at Adventure Awaits Learning Center!
I love reading, history, watching and playing sports, watching tv, listening to podcasts, and traveling.
Abigail Caulfield
Hello, my name is Abigail, and I will be a part-time staff at Adventure Awaits Learning Center. I currently am a junior at Slippery Rock University pursuing my undergraduate degree in neuroscience psychology. I am CPR and first aid certified and have training experience in child development, health and safety, and protection of children. I have over 7 years experience babysitting, and I have served in my church's nursery for many years. I love sports, games, and doing crafts, and I can't wait to plan and develop activities on a regular basis. I enjoy spending time with my nephew, and kids in general, and I cannot wait to work at Adventure Awaits Learning Center!
